X-Plane 12 settings

My other go-to sim. The settings and tweaks I use on stream.

As of 20/04/2026 | RTX 5090 with OBS. Your mileage may vary.

Graphics settings

Optional. Anti-aliasing at 1080p in X-Plane isn’t great, so DSR renders at a higher resolution and scales it down.

Open the Nvidia Control Panel.
Go to Global Settings, then DSR Factors.
Enable 1.78x and 2.25x DL, then hit Apply.
In X-Plane, set the resolution to match the upscaling factor. I rotate between 2560×1440 and 2880×1620.
